my friend wants to sing with my group
so for context I (17F) am graduating in about a month. my school has a music group that consists of 5 people including me. we always play at graduations.
for this year's graduation, we unfortunately have very limited time to get ready. i said it's in a month, but we have less time to practice bc of finals and stuff.
and now my friends said she wants to participate and sing but i dont want her to because
she cant really sing
we dont have enough time to prepare and she doesnt even know the songs we are gonna by playing
it's gonna be our last time as a group bc me and the pianist of the group arent gonna be there next year
the songs are pretty hard bc im the only girl and we sing from the male key, and the only song that's gonna be in a female key is the song i've wanted to sing solo at graduation since last year.
but i dont wanna tell her that i dont want her to sing. idk what to do
