Landlord declining application

We have 3 months left on our lease and we are moving to a different province. So, we are finding someone who can live in the apartment in our place and it's going to be a new lease, not a sublease.

The manager declined an application(4 occupants) saying that the 2 bed unit is not suitable for more than 3 occupants even though they approved our application for the unit as 4 adult occupants.
When I asked why they approved us, he said it might have been a mistake.

Additionally he said the pet policy is they dog cannot exceed 40lbs there are literally 10-15 units with dogs way bigger that 40lbs and he said they applicants must have lied about the dog's weight and it's between the tenant and the management to figure that out and not my(as in me, not the manger) concern.

What should I do in this situation, I don't want to pay this coming month's rent as we won't be living there anymore?

25M got laid off from Job, had some personal issues due to which had my credit cards maxed out, almost $40k in credit card debt. Had a fancy car (bad decision, I realise it now), but don't have it anymore as it got writen off few months ago and don't plan on buying a car anytime soon.

Don't have a job right now and considering filing consumer proposal. Will take whatever job I can and start working on my finances.

As i hit rock bottom, I do have fair knowledge of trading/investing, should I start learning more about it, I know trading can take few years to learn and I know i can do it but don't know if it's the right choice. Always had interest in trading and investing and thought this might be the best time to start as I got nothing to loose now.

What are your opinions on this and any other tips you would like to tell me for my situation and age?

Edit: So my question is, is learning trading (paper trading until my financial situation gets better) a good skill or should I spend my time or learning any other skill and leave trading/investing to maybe an investment firm?

My partner gets frequent vertigo attack, what shoul I do to help her?

So, my partner(late 20s) gets frequent vertigo attacks, we went to multiple doctors and they said there is no cure for this, time is the only cure. I have never dealt with vertigo and didn't knew anyone who had it. This is my first time seeing someone going through it and I feel really bad for her.

what can we do to prevent or reduce the frequency of the attacks, any diet/exercise or anything?

What should I do when she is having vertigo except emotionally supporting her as I already do it?

What can we do to stop th vertigo when she has an attack?

any other tips?
