What should I grow this winter?

Due to low ceiling in my basement I can only fit a tent which is 4x2 and 60” tall. I have an HLG 300 light. I usually grow one or two plants in 7-gallon grow bags and I usually do scrogging.

With those parameters, anybody can suggest me a variety to grow this winter? I don’t care about indica vs sativa. Despite what a lot of people say, I can’t tell any difference between the two. The buzz is the same for me.

Thanks in advance!

RLE and presbyopia?

I have to remove my glasses to see up close, owing to presbyopia. I’m very nearsighted and almost 70.

I’ve been reluctant to have lasik because I’m worried that I’d have to get reading glasses to see up close.

With RLE, will I be able to see up close without the need for reading glasses?

Thanks in advance.

Diagnosis assistance please

My wife and I recently bought this Monstera, clearly we are doing something wrong but I don’t know what.

Based on the attached photos, can somebody in the group help us figure out what we need to correct? 3rd one just so you can see the light situation. At certain times of the year, there can be direct sun through the front door but only very briefly.

Thanks very much in advance.

reccomendation for auto detailer - inside windshield specifically

Hi all,

I don't really need my car detailed per se, I don't care about shiny tires and stuff like that, and I can wash the car myself, but the one thing I can never do well myself, and seemingly neither can any of the three detailing places I've been to: clean the inside windshield *completely clean and 100% streak-free*.

It always looks OK until I drive into the sunlight and see the streaks and film that the detailer left behind.

Does anybody here have a go-to person for cleaning the windshield completely?

Thanks in advance.

Camping or ? near Worth Matravers

Hi all, I need some advice. I’ll be completing the path in June, Brixham - Studland. I’ve got almost all my nights sorted, with one exception.

The penultimate day will be Lulworth Cove to Worth Matravers. I had booked a pitch at Acton Farm campsite, but my friend from Totnes who’ll be joining me for the last two days and has completed the path says that’s too long a walk for one day.

We’re looking at Weston Farm site (NT) but it seems like the only available pitch for June 28 requires a 5-day stay.

I’d be ok with walking to a road and catching a bus to a campground or inn, but even that looks like it would require a long walk inland.

I’m coming from the states (sorry in advance) and have all my transport and flights so I can’t extend my trip by cutting that day into two sections.

If anybody has any suggestions, I would appreciate and welcome them.

Thanks in advance!

Sorry for the vague post title. I want to ascertain to what degree I am ruining my attempts to create a living soil, when it hasn't rained in weeks and my rain barrels are all empty, forcing me to use city water to keep my plants alive.

I'm in Richmond Virginia US, our city water has chloramine.

I do my best to use rain-barrel water in a watering can, but have to resort to city water sometimes, this week being one of those times.

TLDR: Am I killing all the beneficial bacteria and mycorrhyzae in my soil with a thorough soak of city water?

Thanks in advance for any guidance.
