Is it okay to use my S26 Ultra bare if the oleophobic coating is gone, how do I restore it, and does wiping it with a cloth ruin it?

I don't like screen protectors and prefer using my S26 Ultra naked as it is, but I don't know much about the oleophobic coating.

Is it totally fine to keep using the phone if the coating is completely gone?

What actually happens if it's gone? And if it is gone how can I restore it or get that smooth coating back on bare glass?

Also, does wiping the screen with a plain cloth strip or wear off the coating?

OCD is making me want to remove my screen protector again. I need a reality check.

I have OCD, and it's been fixating on my new S26 Ultra.

In the past week, I've changed the screen protector about 20 times. Before applying the current one, I wiped the bare screen with a cotton T-shirt around 50 times. The shirt had perfume sprayed on it about 10 minutes earlier, and I was outside in a busy city, so now my OCD is telling me there may have been tiny dust particles on the shirt that scratched the glass.

I checked the bare display before applying the protector and didn't see any scratches. Now, with the protector on, I only notice one or two tiny dust particles underneath and no visible scratches.

My OCD keeps telling me to remove the screen protector again just to check the bare screen. Would you leave it alone, or check again?

Will dust trapped under my S26 Ultra screen protector cause damage to the real glass of the phone?

Will a tiny piece of dust trapped under my screen protector cause any damage to the real glass of my Galaxy S26 Ultra?

It's a dust sitting right against the screen. Can it scratch the real glass over time from daily use, typing, or being in my pocket? Or is the screen completely safe?
