NYC chemical peels for bacne scars?

NYC chemical peels for bacne scars?

A bit of a vulnerable post. But I fear I wasted yet another summer. It’s going by and I’m still trying to get rid of my bacne scars. I feel like I’ve tried almost everything, and I’m considering doing a series of chemical peels. I’ve stopped wearing synthetics and human hair. No Box braids and wash my blankets often.

Does anyone recommend any clinics in the NYC area for this? If so, could you share the name, location, and general price range? If you’ve had the procedure done yourself, I’d also appreciate hearing about your experience, please feel free to DM me. (Not sure if this helps as Im willing to come out of pocket, I’ll just add that my Insurance is Fidelis Care.)

For context, I’m currently on tretinoin and follow a strict acne wash routine for active breakouts. I’m specifically asking about the hyperpigmentation left behind from acne and picking.

It’s been affecting my confidence a lot, and I really just want to feel comfortable enjoying my life again.

my ‘70s inspired look ☆⌒(ゝ。∂)

hai everyone! *° Just wanted to share the outfit, I wore because i thought the styling came out so cute!

I'm curious what you all think of the overall look. Since I did the hair, makeup, and outfit myself, did it capture the '70s aesthetic? how'd I do? ☆ ^.^

Hair feels stagnant no matter what I do —advice?

hai everyone! This is my first post, and I’m looking for some advice. ⋆˚꩜.ᐟ

I’ve been growing my hair out for a couple of years, but I haven’t fully committed to wearing it curly w/o extension. I love my hair, but lately I’ve been feeling insecure about its health. My ends break a lot, my hair feels like it’s been the same length forever, and I constantly deal with split ends. Even after trims, they seem to come right back.

I feel like I’ve started neglecting my hair because I don’t really know what to do anymore, so I’d like to restart my healthy hair journey. (I’m so close to just big chopping lol) 🥹🥹

But if anyone has any advice on products, routines, or what might be causing this would be appreciated. I’ve been wearing braids back to back but I know there’s more I can do!

Also if anyone can recommend a great natural hair stylist or salon in the NYC area, I’d love to hear your suggestions. Thx 𓂃۶ৎ ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶
