Updated Pixtt wordmark logo. Thank you for the feedback on the first version

This is the second version of the Pixtt wordmark. We received a lot of great feedback on the first post and updated the design based on the main points people raised.

Here is a short summary of the changes:

  • Kerning: Several people mentioned that the spacing in the previous version needed work. So this has been adjusted and new typeface

  • Readability: The first version was inspired by the minimal, angled style of the newer HP logo. That approach was simple, but it made the wordmark harder to read. Some people said it looked like “jii,” so the letter P has been redesigned to make the name clearer.

  • Letter proportions: One comment suggested that the letters were too tall and that reducing their height would help define the bowl of the P. We agreed so this version uses a new custom typeface with more balanced proportions instead of the condensed style used previously. Thank you u/Automatic-Tangelo-72 for mentioned this on the last post.

  • New letter design: This version uses a bolder, normal height custom typeface instead of the condensed font from the previous design. The overall direction is still inspired by the minimal, angled style of the newer HP logo. But the second shape of the P now has rounded corners to improve readability. The P letter needed to be distinctive because it will also be used as the standalone icon for favicons, profile images, and other small brand applications. The i and x use sharper corners to create more separation from the P, while rounded corners were added to the final tt to balance the overall wordmark.

>A few people also asked about the name Pixtt and meaning. Several well known CG companies have names inspired by pixelPixar is one of the most famous and Pixtt felt similar in its short form that built from “pix” and “tt”. Also availability of .com domain. Pixtt is a short 5 letter .com domain starting with pix which fits a CG, design, and technology focused company. It doesn’t have an official meaning yet. That’s the story behind the name, and Pixar, Pix, tt, and .com tld are the reasons.

Would appreciate any bad or good honest feedback on this updated version. Does it read clearly? Does the P work better now? Anything that still feels off is welcome. Thank you all the Redditors!
