I've come to realize that what I'm really missing is a creative, organized marketing person who can move between marketing, sales, partnerships, and operations when needed.
I am based in Malaysia and currently have a few startups at different stages. Two are tech platforms and one is a confinement care business. One of the tech platforms is focused on social discovery and helping people find great local places through their community. The other is in the performance and activity space.
Both apps launched in beta this year and currently have fewer than 200 users each. The foundations are built, the products are live, and the next step is growth. The confinement care business is already generating some revenue but has not received the attention it deserves and has plenty of room to grow.
I'm looking for someone who genuinely wants to help build something. Ideally you're based in Southeast Asia, enjoy solving problems, and are comfortable wearing multiple hats. Some days might be marketing, some days partnerships, some days figuring out how to get in front of customers.
If you're someone who jumps from idea to idea every week, disappears when things get difficult, or is looking for a quick win, we're probably not a fit. I'm looking for someone who wants to stick around long enough to actually build something.
This would be an equity based role and not a paid position initially. A lot of the groundwork has already been done. The products exist, the business is operating, and there is a real opportunity here for someone who wants ownership and the chance to help grow something meaningful from an early stage.
I'm not looking for a title collector or someone who wants to add another startup to their LinkedIn profile. I'm looking for someone who gets excited about growing products, talking to customers, creating campaigns, building partnerships, and helping turn ideas into real businesses.
