The cooking cutscenes are cool to watch, plus its always fun to have a wide variety of food buffs to choose from. I also hope they bring back quests that unlock new ingredients. You also used to have drinks that you could cook with in the older games. Maybe master rank could include some guild imports and local brews to have with your meal? It'd be cool to watch the hunter deglaze / make a pan sauce and then share a toast with the palico.

It's nice that Gore gets to be called a demi elder now and isn't stuck as ??? anymore, but I hope the new class wasn't made purely for Gore (and their variant presumably) and that we get to see some new demi elders in the expansion. Maybe some kind of missing link between dragons and wyverns, or some kind of prehistoric proto dragon that harnesses the weather in the forbidden lands rather than outright causing it. Even a demi elder minion for a much stronger elder dragon would be cool.
