I run Scope Creep, a video game essay channel (~3K subs, growing steadily). I write, record, and capture everything myself — I'm looking for an editor to cut finished VO against footage.

**The work:** 25–40 minute video essays and game critiques. Each one combines gameplay capture I provide, licensed stock footage, and trailer/press-conference clips. Long-form criticism — not shorts, not gameplay compilations, not reaction content.

[Hiring] Paid test edit (~2 min) — long-form gaming/YouTube essay, Premiere project file handoff | Budget: $40–60 for the test

Hey all — I run a long-form PlayStation/trophy-hunting video essay channel (~3K subs) and I’m looking for an editor I can work with on an ongoing basis. Before committing to a full video, I’d like to start with a small paid test edit so we can both see if it’s a good fit.

The test:
I’ll send you ~2 minutes of gameplay footage, my recorded voiceover for that section, music, and a detailed shot map telling you exactly what goes where. You build the timeline — sync the VO, drop the b-roll against my notes, rough pacing — and send me back the Premiere project file (.prproj) + media. I do the final creative pass myself.

Important: I’m specifically looking for someone who delivers the project file, not just a finished export — I like to keep the final pass hands-on.
