Wasted time

Hey guys, I've been working on a document extraction tool and I'm questioning something for my next operational focus. Where would you say your operators lose the most time: RFQs, shipment execution, or resolving exceptions (if they handle them?

Charity for newly wed couples in the west

Should western Islamic organisations set up a charities that will promise about £5000 to newly wed couples who are poor.
Or are there other more pressing matters 🤔
Everyone sets ups organisations/apps for match making, and all our surplus money goes abroad.
but I’d argue the world is the most connected it’s ever been, it’s not about not finding someone to marry, it’s usually that the man doesn’t have enough money to satisfy the financial needs of the woman.
Isn’t decreasing zina in young people who will be the leaders of tomorrow, and keep them on their deen, more important then most things.

I know at least in one Arab country, they set these initiatives through the mosque, why is it we have so much more money than them but are falling behind in this?

Does a level 3 apprenticeship replace A levels ?

If I have a level 3 apprentiship in a STEM subject, then want to get a level 6 apprenticeship in another STEM subject, can I get based the qualifications phase, or should I take an A level maths course on the side to boost my chances?
It’s in the computer and electrical engineering realm. I passed maths in gcse but my grade is quite low

Muslims in America

I’m hearing the marriage scene / Community support is BAD in America, would people recommend a man to invest in a wife before moving over there or just find someone there as it’ll be easier due to the women not needing to readjust ?

Edit :
Thanks for everyone’s advice and perspective, I’ve decided not to pursue a new marriage in America.
JazakAllahu khaira everyone

Preference on scholar for spouse

Brothers, what Islamic scholars / preachers would you most prefer for your potential to be listening to and why?🤔

My personal thinking is who we listen to is essentially who we either strive to emulate or at least we slowly begin looking at Islam through their lenses.

And if someone consistently listens to soft spoken scholars that’s what try to be and we act on their domain of advice. Vice versa

If a sister told me she listens to Mohammed hoblos and Assim Al hakeem I’d see her reciprocate to more straight forward dawah within marriage.

Mufti menk id deduce she’s more on the start of her journey.

Someone teachers I won’t name who have more liberal stances on fatwa, I’d expect her to be the same.

Or someone like mufti taki usmani id think shes well versed in Hadith and rulings
Saudi scholars then most likely firmly opinionated and more then the avg. ect..

For me personally I say hanifa Younis or Naima B. Roberts cause it seems they preach good traits to their students.

May Allah have mercy and forgive them all for their efforts whether we agree or disagree with them.

Thoughts..

Girls girl

If you think about it.

One of the ways for sisters to be a girls girl is to give the financially struggling guys who proposed to them a chance..🤔

Because, if you decline marrying him, think of the next girl who he may propose to after, she may accept that and have him as a husband

It’s better to take one more financially struggling guy off the market to help ensure the next girl ends up with the financially secure man.

Multiple potential

Where does everyone draw the line on exclusivity when someone a marriage potential.
I’m not speaking about girl friend and boyfriend.. as you’re already exclusive regardless of marridge, nor completely arranged marriage, because the older generation kind of all agree to speak to one potential at a time.

But noe take the scenario were you’ve started marridge talks or proposed to someone and have been told to wait or vice versa and you told them to wait.

At what point does opening talks with someone else become disrespectful if at all before nikkah is signed ?

I’m cooked

I’m absolutely cooked 😂
I told the register for a nikkah service my age and ethnicity. And based my ethnicity alone…
Bro said essentially I’m cooked, he himself wasn’t racist but was advising against using the service cause everyone’s apparently listed as looking for their own race.
He was nice, cause it’s a paid matchmaking service and he didn’t try to sell it to me to profit but wow 😂
