400k debt

Hi! I'm a transfer student about to pay full cost, except in debt. Is Tulane worth the 400k undergrad for architecture? Or should I unenroll before school starts?

Enrollment deposit due tonight, but no financial aid package yet. What would you do?

I was admitted as a transfer student to Tulane Architecture for Fall 2026. My enrollment deposit is due tonight, but my financial aid portal still says "No award information at this time," so I can't see my cost of attendance. I requested an extension, and it was denied. I called financial aid and they said it was being processed. Would you like to commit before seeing your aid package, or would you prefer to decline the offer? Has anyone else dealt with Tulane posting aid after the deposit deadline?

I called admissions and I was granted an extension, but through email I was denied from another person.

I don't really have another option, as I just toured Tulane and it was my top choice.

USC appeal

hi! do any of you happen to know when USC usually releases their appeal decisions(after you submit your appeal)? I’m not counting on my appeal getting approved, but preparing for the impending result.

Transfers

I'm a prospective transfer student and was wondering what most transfers do for housing since on-campus housing isn't guaranteed. Are there any transfer group chats, roommate boards, or Instagram pages where incoming transfers can connect?

unsure what to do

hi! so i’m in a really unsure situation right now. i got rejected from a lot of the schools i wanted to transfer to, except for tulane, but i honestly don’t really see myself there. the school i’m currently at is somewhere i genuinely do not want to go back to. i’m an architecture major, and the program has pretty intense grade deflation, so my gpa dropped more than i expected even though i’ve been putting in a lot of effort. a lot of my credits also don’t transfer well, which makes everything even more frustrating.

i appealed some of my rejections and i’m still waiting on other decisions, but lately i’ve been considering going to cc for my sophomore year, rebuilding my gpa in a healthier environment, and then transferring again as a junior. i guess i’m just wondering if that sounds unrealistic or like “too much” just to try to get to a set of schools i feel would actually fit me better socially and academically.
