I feel awful! 34 Ferritin/Not anemic

I am feeling really defeated and pessimistic. I’m a 45yo F, I have been dealing w/extreme fatigue, heart palpitations, anxiety, hair loss, brittle nails & headaches/head pressure. I have had tons of labs done & had a couple head CT scans done, all found nothing. most labs look within normal range. I also have had my heart checked, EKG’s, worn a heart monitor. Also, in May of 2026 I had Gallbladder surgery (I had gallstones). I can barely function at work (I’m an elementary school teacher), I spend every weekday in my bed after work and weekends I hardly leave the house. I keep telling my Dr I don’t feel like myself, but then she says my labs look fine so I feel like to her I sound crazy. I’m taking Thorne Iron & Dr Ruth’s liquid Iron, but my ferritin hasn’t moved in 5 months. Her advice is just to stay the course and keep taking supplements. I started changing my diet and drinking apple cider vinegar before meals as well as food enzymes to help with absorption issues. I’m not anemic, but my Transferring Saturation is only at 21%. Seeking any advice that helped you raise your Ferritin levels.

Help! Can anyone else relate? Racing heart palpitations returned.

Hello, I am a 45yo woman experiencing perimenopause symptoms. I have not felt like myself for about 2yrs now but this summer I really felt awful- I could hardly stand, I had extreme fatigue, I started getting racing heart palpitations that sent me to the ER. I also had some tingling head symptoms (it feels like pins and needles sensation on the base of my head and on the right side of my head.) After wearing a heart holter monitor, getting a CT scan done on my brain, a few EKG’s & numerous labs done, everything came back normal. Vitamin B is normal, Ferritin is 29, thyroid is normal. I started HRT (Estrogen patch 0.05 & Slynd Birth Control for the synthetic progesterone) Initially I started feeling great! I didn’t have heart palpitations for about 3.5wks. Then when I got to the inactive pills (I went 4 days without progesterone), my heart racing returned. My dr told me to skip the inactive pills this month, and 4 days into taking my Birth control pills again, I started feeling really horrible at work. My heart was racing, BP was 180/90. I was dizzy, nauseous and I felt really light headed. My head pins and needles sensation returned too. Had another CT scan done with contrast that is normal. I don’t know why my Heart keeps racing. Has anyone other women experienced this? Is Perimenopause just a roller coaster of horrible symptoms that land us in the ER multiple times a year?? I’d appreciate hearing your experiences.

F45, 519 B12 reading/ 32 Ferritin w/neuro symptoms

Struggling 🫤 For the last few months I’ve been experiencing:
tingling/pins needles on my hands/feet and more recently on the back of my head and lips.
I am extremely fatigued, have brain fog and feel light headed at times.
I had lab work done with my Dr, she tested B12, Magnesium & Ferritin. But now she’s on vacation and I haven’t had a chance to discuss the results or further symptoms with her.
you??
It’s scary experiencing these symptoms.

How long did it take you to feel better after taking supplements?
