Glazers: Is there market for used mirrors?
We have 20 6’x7’ mirrors and a few other huge ones 6’x11’. W always demo them, but my guys want me to bring them to shop and list them. Will I be able to offload them? I’d prefer it vs. breaking them.

We are sitting on 15 6’x7’ mirrors and then a few larger sizes and I almost feel terrible just tossing them like usual, but anything we try to save usually ends up sitting.
Is this something I should have the guys set aside and see if somebody can put them to use? Obviously location helps, but need to make decision sooner than later to get them safely stored at shop and will worry about getting them to whomever after.
Any suggestions/experiences thanks.
We probably demo 5,000 square feet of mirrors from fitness facilities a year without a second thought.
Is there any second hand market for large used mirrors?
Was the lunch debate today.
Have a situation I need to address where project had lien filed due to nonpayment by GC. Owner of property forced them to file surety bond. Now at point where need to make a claim with surety.
I have all the paperwork, I think it is pretty obvious what the issues were, who was at fault for each and how it should be handled from a dollar amount. Of course that is my side.
My question is: what is motivation for surety company to settle? From my research and zero experience having this happen: they take documents, interviews, etc. and decide what should happen. They ultimately aren’t on hook for payment as they collect from GC. They at times stall claims to run clock out. Their customer is the GC, is there not motivation to keep their business from continuing? Why would they ever want to, even in a mostly non biased decision, agree with subcontractor instead of leaning towards GC. The more they agree is owed, the more they will have to collect.
Have roughly 3,000 square feet of this glue to get up once we get flooring removed. Will use ride on floor scraper for laminate. Wide open.
Any input on proper type of blades, machine or solvent to assist with green colored glue?
Thanks
Not my doing: I want it gone. Already tore everything out down to studs for new sub floor. Might as well attempt to get this mess out while I am washing up in puddles. Short of me finding this tile and redoing roughly 6…any other options? Input. Thanks
Had to do major renovation to bathroom due to leaking membrane, old toilet, bad pipes below. I am pouring the walk in shower in concrete and then probably acid staining. Have glossy white vanity. Walls are all gray tile. Floor is dark gray tile, redid grout and now am looking at it and thinking just epoxy over it. Buddy has done it for ten years so it will look right. Even metallic flake in it?
Any input on black epoxy bathroom floor. Thank you.
Have 5’x3’ shower to pour and really don’t want to order a truck. Have never used bags for anything that was finished let alone hard troweled.
Any suggestions for best material? Thickness doesn’t matter. Or other suggestions. Will be acid stained and sealed.
