ADF combat boots

Just acquired my second pair of Australian Defence Force (ADF) boots—the Highmark model manufactured by R.D. Allender—and the condition on this pair is absolutely pristine. I have collected various US and European military boots, there's a satisfaction about this NOS pair of Australian military boots.

Boots with solid build - ID please!?

Hi guys. I got this pair of boots from a thrift shop. It is almost unused except for being in stockpile for a long time. The single stitch-down construction + inner stitching, iron heel nails, and rugged build make me think they were built for the cobbler’s own use.

Also, the construction feels like it's from the era before soft insoles became standard.

There are no markings or tags anywhere on the boots. Which region or country does this specific craftsmanship/construction style carry the signature of? Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you for your time.

Vintage Hiking Boots

Hi guys. Wanted to share a pair of vintage boots that recently came into my hands. Size 39. Weight: approx. 1.7kg. Heavy Norwegian / Tyrolean welted construction. Thick multi-layer leather outsole featuring dense wooden pegging. A custom-fitted solid brass toe bumper/cap stamped/engraved with the script text "O'mo'" (with an underline) — please correct me if I read the script text wrong.

If you happen to recognize the script text on the brass plate or know anything about the origin, history of this pair of boots, please share!

Thank you for your insights
