Broken washing machine handle

Hello, our washing machine (LG DirectDrive 8/4kg washer dryer F1496AD Motion) door is stuck shut.
It seems the handle inside the door has either snapped or broken as it is loose and not able to open the door.

I have washing stuck inside and I’m not sure what to do!

There is local appliance repair services that will do a call out for £100 (I’m in Scotland), with extra for any repairs or supplies needed.

Is this worthwhile or is it likely I will need to replace the machine?

I’m not sure how old the machine is, it was left when we moved in.

Thank you so much!!

Note: I’m on a tight budget so looking not to have to call out for repairs and end up needing to replace the machine!

Advice on asking for subtle almond shape lash lift!

I have a question for any lash techs or people who get regular lash lifts!

I had a lash lift about 12 weeks ago and overall I loved it, but the lift ended up being really strong. I actually went back a few days later to have them relaxed a bit because the curl was so intense. (Not the lash techs fault, just my personal preference)

I'd like to get another one, but this time I'm after something much more subtle. Is it possible to ask for a lash lift that's only a very gentle lift rather than a dramatic curl? I basically want my lashes to look naturally lifted, not super curled.

I also have another question about shaping. When my lashes were lifted last time, they made my eyes look much rounder, but my natural eye shape is more almond/cat-eye. Is there a way for a lash tech to adjust the lift or shield size/placement so it enhances that shape instead of making my eyes look so circular?

Please help advice how do I ask/explain this to a lash tech? Is this even possible?

Thanks so much!

Looking for recommendation for electric boiler issue

We've been experiencing an issue with our new flat's boiler. Since it's an all-electric flat, the boiler is an electric cylinder tank controlled by an old Economy 7 timer. Unfortunately, I've contacted several companies, and they all say they don't work with electric boilers. Does anyone know of a company that services and repairs electric boilers? Thanks in advance!
