Brutal honesty

Claude Code and Copilot are good tools, but $20/month doesn't make sense when it's a meaningful chunk of a dev salary where I'm from.

So I built Zync. It's a terminal AI coding assistant, same idea as Claude Code: it reads your codebase, edits files across your project, runs commands, and loops until the task is done. Built the agent loop myself from scratch, it's not a wrapper around someone else's CLI.

Entry pricing is around $4/month. Before I lock that in, I want real pushback, not "cool idea" comments:

Would you pay $4/mo for something that does what Claude Code does?

Does that price feel too cheap to trust, or about right?

What would actually make you switch from what you use now?

Tell me why you wouldn't pay it too. That's more useful to me than the people who would.
