PSA to Hoop Junkies: Basketball Gear Must-Have
I’ve been playing basketball for years and have gone through quite a few bags. Be it duffels, backpacks, and some of the more premium Nike Elite bags as well.
Recently came across the Nike Volleyball Backpack 32L and, honestly, I’ve been pretty impressed with it so far.
I know it’s technically a volleyball bag, but the layout actually works really well for basketball. A few things I like about it:
-Dedicated, ventilated shoe compartment
-Spacious main compartment
-Adjustable straps on the bottom and sides for things like knee pads, foam rollers, or even a yoga mat
-Small top compartment for things you want to grab quickly
-Built-in ball carrier that can be tucked away
-Padded laptop/tablet compartment, which is handy if you’re heading straight from work to the court
I’ve added a few stock photos I found online, and the 4th photo is my actual setup so you can see how I’m using it
I also happened to find mine on Amazon for around $79, while Nike had it listed for around $135 at the time, so it might be worth checking around for the price if you’re interested.
The only downside I can think that might discourage others is the volleyball branding elements on it. But personally, I don’t really mind that.
Not saying everyone needs to run out and buy one, but if you’re looking for a new basketball bag, this might be worth having a look at. I’ve had plenty of bags over the years and this one has probably been the most practical for how I use it.
Hope this helps and keep hooping!
