Hi! I am 4 days post op an open reduction and internal fixation of right lateral malleolus and open reduction and internal fixation of right syndesmosis surgery. My doctor said that I will transition into a boot with fwb at post op appointment in 2 weeks. Since looking further into this surgery, I don’t see people fwb for at least 4 weeks. Is this timeline like normal or realistic? I’m supposed to law school and am already missing orientation so I’m trying to remain optimistic but😔

I’m looking at 2 apartments. My roommate and I are in our 20s, and one of us will be a student. Gramercy would be slightly cheaper, and work more for our moving timeline. I guess what are some of the pros and cons of both neighborhoods because both apartments are similar in terms of quality.
