After Goose Goose Duck Success, Huya Launches New Wuxia Title Jianxia Qingyuan: Reunion

On June 26, 2026, Jianxia Qingyuan: Reunion, a new wuxia title published exclusively by Huya and developed by the core team behind Xishanju’s Jianxia World PC game, was officially announced and opened pre-registration across all platforms.

Carrying more than two decades of wuxia heritage from the Jianxia Qingyuan series, the game introduces a new cross-platform model connecting the mobile app, PC client, and WeChat mini-program. It aims to bring both new and veteran players a martial arts world they can step into anytime.

The most notable feature is the lightweight mini-program version — no download or installation required, just open and play. Players can use their spare time to experience lighter content such as sect cultivation and casual gameplay. The PC version is aimed at more hardcore players, with large-screen controls designed to recreate the feel of a traditional PC game. The mobile version is optimized for commuting and outdoor scenarios, truly delivering the experience of “reuniting anytime and entering the martial arts world instantly.”

As one of China’s leading livestreaming platforms, Huya has in recent years expanded beyond being a pure livestreaming platform and moved toward becoming a comprehensive gaming ecosystem service provider. Previously, Huya partnered with Jinshan Shiyou to publish the China version of Goose Goose Duck mobile, which surpassed 10 million registered users within just six days of launch. It also remained at the top of the App Store’s free game rankings for most of Q1 2026, demonstrating Huya’s unique operating approach of “content-driven publishing and social-powered gaming.”

On the social side, Huya’s mature livestreaming community, streamer ecosystem, and player community operations will further empower Jianxia Qingyuan: Reunion.

Classic social features such as in-game clans, mentor-disciple relationships, and faction battles, combined with the Huya livestreaming ecosystem, allow players to not only immerse themselves in wuxia combat but also start livestreams with one click and share their daily adventures in the martial arts world. This deep integration of classic wuxia elements with livestreaming social interaction could give this long-running wuxia IP a new lease of life in the modern era.

Currently, Jianxia Qingyuan: Reunion has officially opened pre-registration across all platforms. The official team has also launched a test recruitment survey, with limited early access slots available.

DouYu Carnival 2026 draws 226,000+ visitors in Wuhan, reaches 7 billion+ views online

DouYu Carnival 2026 Brings Together Hundreds of Streamers, Celebrities and Fans in a Massive Offline Celebration

The 2026 DouYu Carnival, held from June 25 to June 28 at the Wuhan International Expo Center, brought together hundreds of popular streamers, creators, and entertainers for a large-scale offline event that combined gaming, entertainment, anime culture, and lifestyle content.

Some of the biggest names in the streaming scene, including Gemini, Doinb, Yin Zi, and YYF, appeared at the event, drawing huge reactions from the audience. Fans were able to interact with their favorite creators through live performances, audience activities, and fan meet-and-greet sessions.

The four-day event attracted more than 226,000 visitors to the venue, with attendees traveling from across China to take part. Around 75% of visitors came from outside Wuhan, showing the event’s ability to draw audiences beyond the local market. The overall event coverage reached more than 15 million people, while online discussions and related content generated over 7 billion views and interactions across platforms.

The carnival concluded on the night of June 28 with singer Kenji Wu performing the final stage show, where he sang “Write a Poem for You” together with fans, marking the end of the four-day celebration.

The event was not limited to streamers. Professional performers also joined the lineup, bringing higher-quality stage shows, while cosplay artists hosted interactive activities that created a more immersive experience for anime and gaming fans.

The carnival also attracted dozens of well-known gaming and consumer brands. Companies used the event as a way to connect with younger audiences, while attendees enjoyed product showcases, games, and interactive booths.

According to organizers, the event involved hundreds of streamers, artists, brands, influencers, and creators, reaching an estimated combined audience of more than 700 million people online and offline.

Beyond the physical venue, the carnival gained significant attention across social media platforms. Discussions and clips from the event spread widely on platforms such as Weibo, Douyin, and Xiaohongshu, with fans sharing highlights, photos, and memorable moments. Media coverage further increased the event’s visibility.

DouYu Carnival represents how livestreaming platforms are expanding beyond screens into real-world experiences. While livestreaming has always been the foundation of DouYu, events like this create a direct connection between creators and their communities, allowing fans to experience the personalities they follow in a more personal way.

Over the years, the carnival has grown from a small offline gathering into a major entertainment event involving hundreds of creators, many industry partners, thousands of attendees, and a massive online audience. This continued growth not only strengthens DouYu’s position in the livestreaming and entertainment industry but also helps solidify its long-term relevance and future as the platform continues to expand its ecosystem.
