First time staining a table, please don’t roast me. I think fingerprints/oils blocked the stain in a few spots. Didn’t wipe with mineral spirits because I didn’t have any. Is there any way to fix or blend this without fully sanding back to bare wood? Any advice appreciated.

I really like these sunglasses, but don’t wear them enough to justify spending $250 on them. Are there cheaper alternatives from other brands? I really like the slim metal frame and arms. Hoping for them to be polarized and to spend under $100. Thanks!
