How bad is the noise for units in front of elevator?

Would like to ask if the noise is bad for units directly in front of the elevator? Any experience so far po? I’ve narrowed down my options already, but the unit I really like is right in front of the elevator 41st floor.

I’m a light sleeper kasi so medyo big factor siya for me. It’s also a studio unit, so the main door would basically be the only buffer between the elevator/hallway noise and the bed area. Though I sleep with earplugs din naman every night.

This is for Three Central Makati. Pero any personal experience will definitely help. Thank you so much!

Torn between renting at Greenbelt Hamilton vs Three Central

Hi!! I’m currently torn between renting at Greenbelt Hamilton vs Three Central 😅

What’s holding me back with Three Central is I’ve read a few Reddit posts saying the Meralco/utilities can get really expensive daw. Is this true based on your experience?

Would really appreciate any thoughts, pros/cons, or actual experience renting in Three Central - especially regarding utilities, management, noise, elevators, and overall living experience. Thank you so much!

My rent would be around ₱30k/month, so I’m trying to protect myself before signing the contract. I reviewed the lease and was thinking of requesting a few clarifications/changes:

  • Aircon – should be in good working condition upon turnover (no weak cooling), with a short warranty period (like 30 days)
  • Repairs & maintenance – normal wear and tear should be shouldered by the landlord; I’ll handle minor upkeep
  • Pest control – unit should be pest-free upon move-in, with a short warranty; I shouldn’t be liable for pre-existing or structural infestations. It was stated in the contract that I would be penalized if there are infestations in the unit, but upon visit, there are already small cockroaches.
  • Security deposit / pre-termination – allow replacement tenant (subject to approval) instead of automatic forfeiture - for uninhabitable reasons like construction noise, etc.
  • Deductions – any charges from the deposit should be reasonable and documented

Are these reasonable to ask? Do landlords in PH usually agree to this, or is this too much?

Would appreciate any advice or experience 🙏
