PSA

So I just got a call from “kraken security” initially an automated one saying there was an unauthorized withdrawal request, later I got a call from a California number with a man on line who asked some questions and verified my email. He asked if I had a balance that could have been targeted, I told him I only had 100-200 bucks in the account and hadn’t been logged in for months, and then he just hung up.

So caution because someone is trying to scam people, I guess when I told him there was only a couple hundred bucks he decided it wasn’t worth the effort.

Rant

why the actual F*CK DO PEOPLE JUST LEAVE, like as soon as a run starts to have a slight disadvantage people just leave or close the lobby, most of my best runs have had a low point, but as soon as someone goes down in the first boss fight or the level is 100% clear people just peace out! I swear if this is you you’re literally ruining the game. Also starting the tumor or boss fights without communicating or pinging, like I’m about to grab a chest I just ran across the map for and then I get teleported away, fucking people if you can’t play as a team play solo I stg.

Breaking into yacht delivery

At a point in my life where staying in the same okay place doesn’t sound as appealing as making moves so you never have to work a day in your life again (by doing the right work). Anyways, I’m wondering if anyone on here can share some of their experience with how they got into yacht delivery, is it worthwhile to connect with someone as a mentor? Best to put yourself out there as available crew for cheap? One thing I’m curious about is how people have gone about building their sea hours to get certifications and build reputability, seems like a bit of a circular gate; I.E. you get certs to jobs, but need to work jobs/build hours, to get certs.

I just gotta say, WINDROSE is a lot of fun, similar game play to u grounded in my opinion but swash buckling version. The map is huge and as a sailor myself I love the ship aspect and how they did it.

With regards to the deck, I’ve been playing it quite successfully, now I don’t have a PC right now so it’s my only gaming method.

Controller support is not perfect but it’s good for an early access game, hopefully it will only get better.

SETTINGS:

Performance wise, I am able to get a steady 60fps with settings on low (render distance on medium), and with lossless scaling with base fps locked to 30.

Lossless scaling I think is pretty crucial for a half decent experience, and maybe lowering the PVE difficulty a bit as the combat is pretty hard especially with the slightly higher input delay from lossless.

The good thing is that this game is primarily adventure/story driven combat is just an aspect so I don’t think it takes away from the experience too much. (But do yourself a favor and build a lot of tents).

I’m curious if anybody else has tried playing and if they have any further recommendations.
