I just gotta say, WINDROSE is a lot of fun, similar game play to u grounded in my opinion but swash buckling version. The map is huge and as a sailor myself I love the ship aspect and how they did it.

With regards to the deck, I’ve been playing it quite successfully, now I don’t have a PC right now so it’s my only gaming method.

Controller support is not perfect but it’s good for an early access game, hopefully it will only get better.

SETTINGS:

Performance wise, I am able to get a steady 60fps with settings on low (render distance on medium), and with lossless scaling with base fps locked to 30.

Lossless scaling I think is pretty crucial for a half decent experience, and maybe lowering the PVE difficulty a bit as the combat is pretty hard especially with the slightly higher input delay from lossless.

The good thing is that this game is primarily adventure/story driven combat is just an aspect so I don’t think it takes away from the experience too much. (But do yourself a favor and build a lot of tents).

I’m curious if anybody else has tried playing and if they have any further recommendations.
