SERIOUSLY??!!!

Ok. Let's preface this with: In reality, I'm SO grateful. Grateful for my husband and grateful we finally figured it out. Now- on to this craziness...

I've been struggling for a few months (like 3-5) with recurring infections; debilitating pain in my jaw, ear, and neck; swollen lymph nodes; swelling in the right side of my face and neck; a breakout that kept recurring on my right cheek (I don't GET pimples!); etc, etc, etc.... I've been on antibiotics a few times, which seems to clear it up for a short period of time, but then the swelling, the breakout, the EYE INFECTION, the sore throat, the irritation in the ear, then the swollen lymph nodes, which are followed by pain in my jaw and shooting pain at the ear... and of course the energy knockout that goes along with it.

So... I asked my husband to look at my ear drum in preparation for another televisit for more meds before I can get to my Dr next. I asked him to take a pic, which he was having a hard time with, so he did a video. (I'm familiar with infections and what they look like in the ear drum and he's just learning.) It gets clear for a second and I see this hair sitting across my ear canal. I've been wondering if there's one in there because it's uncomfortable from time to time, but unable to get it thus far... so I ask my husband to remove it.

Instantly, my ear felt better. The next day, the swelling was down a bit, the sharp pains were nearly gone. The next day? Even better. I still took some ibuprofen for a few days, but a week later all symptoms have ceased.

IT. WAS. A. HAIR! I'm dying for months and my system is going haywire due to a fricking HAIR!

So.... if you ever have a system wide failure radiating from an area of your body, look for something weird that could be causing it. It might save you a lot of pain and time and suffering. 😩😮‍💨

Linux on iPhone 10

I have an iPhone 10 which stopped working shortly after it was given to me because of the software update that broke the camera (essentially cascading to breaking manly main features). I've been wanting to find a Linux phone to run on, and I realized that I've got what SHOULD be a perfectly good phone sitting and wasting away... My question is- is there a good, trustworthy guide to jailbreak, wipe off the ios, and replace with a mimicking os available anywhere?

(LOTS going on right now, so my responses will be slow- but thank you ahead of time!!)

I'm wondering how everyone found market research in their areas to determine what products/services would be best fitted to the area? What resources did you use and for the more rural areas, did you do things like post to local social media sites to ask questions, etc? Did you go it without research? What types of things did you look for/ask before launching? Was there anything you'd do different that you found out afterwards? How did you figure out what holes you could fill instead of competing with others?

URGENT AND HIGH PRIORITY: KEEP DATA CENTERS OFF TRIBAL LAND AND OUT OF NORTHERN MICHIGAN TO PROTECT OUR WAY OF LIFE. ON TUESDAY, SAULT TRIBE IS VOTING TO ADOPT A STRATEGIC PLAN TO HAVE 10-12 DATA CENTERS BUILT IN THE TRIBAL SERVICE AREA.

We know from our experience with Lake Superior Academy and the bitcoin mining disaster in Dafter township, the impacts of data centers in the Eastern Upper Peninsula. We know from what is happening in northern Michigan and across the country that leaders are selling out our land, our water, our animals, and our people for profit. We know that companies like Invest UP are already working to find ways to get data centers in our community.

Now we know that behind closed doors, tribal leaders have planned without public input to have 10-12 data centers built in the seven-county service area in northern Michigan that will disrupt and harm our way of life and send energy prices skyrocketing during a time where the cost of oil increases by the day.

We need everyone (tribal and non-tribal) from Sault Ste. Marie and St. Ignace, to Manistique, Marquette, and Escanaba to voice that they will not stand to have 10-12 data centers in the Upper Peninsula and that we stand together (tribal, non-tribal, Democrat, and Republican) against data centers here in the U.P.

CALL TO ACTION:

Tell your neighbors, friends, and co-workers that the Sault Tribe Board of Directors are voting on this strategic plan at their EDC meeting on Tuesday. We need everyone in our communities to both email and call the Sault Tribe Board of Directors to tell them to vote NO on this strategic plan presented by the EDC.

If you are tribal, show up to the EDC meeting and watch this vote at 1:30 on Tuesday. Then show up to the Sault Tribe Board of Directors meeting on Tuesday night and voice your opposition. If you are tribal, do not vote for anyone up for tribal re-election who supports this plan.

SPREAD THE WORD AND FIGHT TO SAVE OUR WAY OF LIFE HERE IN NORTHERN MICHIGAN. NOW.

If you want to breathe clean air, drink clean water, fish in our lakes, hunt in our woods, have affordable energy, or have quiet in your backyard or on your campground, you must take action now.
