Doing my first front brake job on my 93 Camaro Z28. Question about these 2 pins or whatever they are called... Are they supposed to be that far out?
They are like this on both sides .
(Guide pins where the bolts go through)

Looking for some guidance about my issue. My clutch fork grinded the PP when clutch pedal was pressed. (Flywheel, clutch disc and PP are new). I noticed my pivot T and clutch fork contact surfaces were worn so that must be my issue.
My question is can I reuse the PP if grinded that much?
Car is Camaro 1993 Z28 lt1. It was an auto converted to manual but unfinished. Have yet to connect reverse lockout and reverse lights. This part has me stumped, have no idea what it is. That black c-looking thing connected to wire harness?
