RE: 2020 Elantra Limited

I absolutely hate that the radio continues to play after I shut off my car and until I open my door. I'd love to disable it. Google is no help - it gives me instructions to go to Menu options that don't exist.

Yes, I can manually turn off the radio before turning off the car. But then the display is still active. Yes, I can manually turn off the display before turning off the car. But why should I have to do this every time? Is there a master control to disable this function? I've looked through every menu option and don't see anything relevant.

Thanks in advance for any assistance. If it can't be disabled, then I'll have to continue to live with it.

▲ 3 r/snakes

We've been monitoring a cardinal nest next to our garage, which is the hibernaculum/breeding site for our resident black rat snakes. This afternoon, I discovered a small black rat snake (last summer's hatchling) departing the bird nest's branch, with a telltale lump. (S)he wasn't greedy, just took one of the three nestlings. But now that the snake knows the nest is there, will it return when it's hungry again?

We like our cardinals, but we like our snakes, too (with this new juvenile, we're up to four known, distinct individuals - all with names). It's sad to lose a nestling, but that's just nature being nature.

So I was curious if the snake is likely to come back again now that it has identified a known food source. If so, how long does it take a 12-14" snake to digest a 6-8 day old cardinal? Google AI says 3-5 days, but I know that information is not necessarily accurate.

Fingers crossed that by the time the snake comes back, the cardinals have fledged.
