My Jonsbo D31 is basically stuffed full. One of the issues I have with this PC is the front SSD can get a little toasty, especially with full watercooling not having airflow around the socket like a traditional air cooler. I was noticing the SSD controller temps going over 70°C during gaming. Still within spec, but with the price of SSDs and RAM still insane, I’m not taking any chances! So I bought an SSD heatsink with RGB and a tiny little fan because I’m a ricer

The Asrock heatsink is tiny. It theoretically should be fine, but I think with my bottom-to-top airflow it just sits in a deadzone. I slapped on an SSD heatsink, and since I’m out of fan headers, I used an adapter to plug it into the GPU fan header since that’s now empty. I routed the cable hella nice by going behind the GPU, and I didn’t disassemble the waterblock either and still managed to get that cable plugged in.

My SSD is now in the low 60°C range, which considering it idles around 57°, I will happily take it. A 10°C improvement on average!
