I'm both impressed and confused, if it's legit

Today I got an ad for a crowdfunding campaign for a quad independent extruder (IQEX?) printer using linear motors instead of belts. It looks impressive, but also ridiculous. IDEX printers are already pretty niche, is this really better than a tool changer? Or even the IDEX tool changer that sovol is crowdfunding? Thoughts? Its definitely intriguing, but I'm not going to put any money on it. Honestly the thing I'm most interested by is the liner motors. Has it been done before? Is it a good idea?

3D printed packaging. Relay pin cover

This isn't something I printed myself, however I thought it was neat enough to share. I work in aircraft maintenance and for the past several months our relays started arriving with 3D printed covers on the pins rather than injection moulded or Styrofoam etc. I found it fascinating to see 3D printing used like this commercially, especially in the anal retentive aviation industry.
