How can I renew my concealed carry license for Buffalo, New York, and what is the renewal timeframe?

Why do I feel like my gun is poking out a little bit and everybody is looking at me weirdly help plz also I’m new to this

April 30th, 2025 - Application received by clerks office

May 19th, 2025 - Application picked up by police department

June 16th, 2026 - In person “interview”

July 2nd, 2026 - Police finished investigation, turned over to the licensing officer

July 10th, 2026 - Approved!

And no they didn’t call any of my references at all they just asked me about them in the interview
And it still took them about 14 months 🤦🏾🤦🏾

for Eric County do you guys have any idea when usually the judge comes back or is it just random whenever he shows up? Also, do you guys know when he’s showing up for July the exact date?

I had my permit interview, and they told me I was approved. Now I’m just waiting for the judge to sign off on it. I submitted my application on April 30, 2025 and they said I should expect the judge’s approval next month. Just a note they never contacted my references they only asked about them during the interview. This is for Erie County, Buffalo. So about 13 months and 16 days. For them to skip the part about them, calling references and straight to. Interview.

If you guys are wondering, I basically called the sheriffs office complaining on why none of my references have not been called yet and it’s been about 14 months. Basically they told me that my application hasn’t even been given to an investigator yet so it’s basically sitting there just collecting dust and they basically said that my references should get called in the next month or so yeah I know (she hit me with the we’re backed up thing) and she basically said that they basically handle all the other applications also like Tanawanda Amhurst Kenmore and more the impression I got was basically she’s trying to throw a blame on other people or other factors, but who am I 🤦🏾
