Water bottles left outside

Water bottles left outside

This morning I saw a bunch of water bottles in packaging left outside specific people’s homes and at first I thought it may be deliveries but then I saw on other roads some were left opened and others still unopened on multiple houses… wonder if anyone else saw them or has received them and what it may be for

Swimming lessons for 6 months is that normal?

Hi all,

I’m 22F and I’ve tried to learn to swim over the years but would quit because I would get so overwhelmed and scared but this year I’ve been learning how to swim for the last 6 months and I’m still on a kick float but I am doing my hands now. We are going to drop to a smaller one so I’ll be more independent in the next few weeks.
Backwards is so enjoyable but it scares me the most but I’m trying to hold onto it and be on my back.
I know it’ll come over time and it’ll happen once I start to trust the water and myself but everytime I start within 10 seconds after realising I’m doing it I panic because it’s so shocking water is holding me up.
I did drown at a beach when I was 10 and got saved so I know that plays a huge part in it and I struggle with standing up.
I really want to learn and it is to the point people in my life laugh at me because it’s taking me so long to learn.
Is this normal? I know others learn how to swim in 12 weeks and I’ve been feeling so discouraged. My swim instructor we do 1-2-1. It is costly but because I love water and want to learn I don’t mind it. It’s now a new hobby for me! She is so supportive and sweet and has known me for the last few years. I can see she’s trying so hard with me and if it wasn’t for her I would had quit.
I’m now practicing alone too every weekend so I’m doing everything I can.
I’m starting therapy next week to work on my anxiety and fear so I feel like I’m doing everything I can but I don’t feel like I’m making any progress. Yes I’ve definitely made progress but it’s so embarrassing that I still can’t let go of the float. I need my hand holding onto something no matter what.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you

Sister relapsed before an event

We’ve an event tomorrow in London and it’s worrying me. I’m the older one and she is the younger one two yr difference and at the time of booking this event she was getting clean and in therapy. What I hate about this that I also was getting clean and in therapy. Both of us were. Individually. I told her I’ll not take her if she’s like this tomorrow and I’ll go alone and tell my mum she has relapsed but unfortunately for my family our new born niece who is a few months old is in hospital under critical conditions so I know this will break her and I don’t want to stress her more right now. I knew she relapsed a few months ago tbh. I pulled her up on it immediately and said we are cancelling the event. She said it wasn’t that. But u can tell. The way they talk and look especially since I was one. I’ve this event and one more with her in July. It’s two days I’ve to go through with her. The 2nd one there’s three of us so it’s more manageable. Any advice on how to get through tomorrow as best as possible? She can’t take it with her anyways and I’ll check before we go. I am being blunt and strict and cold but I have to be to keep myself clean and sober. We’ve no more plans together. I’ve purposely avoided making plans with her in the future. I just don’t want to ruin my special day tomorrow too.

Car bumped

Hi All, I don’t wanna give the car details out but if there was anyone who drove a Ford Fiesta number plate starting SN had a parking ticket near St Mary’s and the front of the car number plate has any damage or anything could they respond to this? I don’t have Facebook to post it and I left a note but it got destroyed in the rain! I reversed a bit too much. There is no damage to my car or their car as far as I can tell as the damage on the car is red and white which isn’t the colour of my car. The scratches around the car and other things on the car were visibly old. After the rain wiped my note I kept going out to see if I could find the owner as they aren’t a car that I could tell belongs to anyone on my road but then the protests began so I stayed home. I didn’t even hear or feel the damage it’s only when I went to get my bag out I realised I was touching the car. I will never do a hit & run regardless of damage or not! This morning I decided I’ll leave the note in a plastic bag but they were already gone :( I know I should of done more with the note etc but my brain was so occupied with the protests and police vans started to come to the road etc etc. I only thought about it when I woke up. Thanks in advance!
