IT vs CSE Specialization (AI, AI&DS, etc.) in a Tier-3 College.... Which is Better??

From what I've seen, the difficulty level is -- CSE Specialization > CSE Core > IT Also, the difference between CSE Core and IT seems almost negligible, just 1-2 subjects difference and IT offen as a slightly lighter syllabus.... If someone is not getting CSE Core in a tier-3 college, would IT be a better choice than CSE specializations like AI, AI&DS, etc.? I'm mainly asking from the perspective of -- • Placement opportunities • Difficulty/workload • Future career options • Relevance in industry

I want genuine guidance from students or graduates....
