FSD detected pedestrians at night that neither my wife nor I could see — POV Ray-Ban Meta

Driving at night in Puerto Rico, I was going 30 MPH when FSD suddenly braked to 19 MPH. My wife immediately said "what about those people?!" — but neither of us could see anyone. The Tesla had detected them before we could.

POV captured with Ray-Ban Meta glasses. The ambient dashboard lights are from TLyard BSD.

For context: I have 8 years as a Heavy Equipment Operator in the U.S. Army and 6 years driving Teslas. This is the first time FSD has detected pedestrians that I genuinely could not see with my own eyes.

FSD v14.3.2 — Aggressive lane changes at a known failure point in Puerto Rico, then runs red light at 17mph. Same exit, same sequence 😳

Been documenting FSD behavior at "Los Filtros" exit in Bayamón, PR — it fails here consistently. This run: aggressive left-right-left lane change that nearly cuts off a Corolla, followed by running a red light at 17mph on the exit ramp without braking.

All supervised. Hands nearby the whole time.

Is this a geofencing/mapping issue or just FSD struggling with the exit geometry?

FSD at "Los Filtros" in Bayamón, PR — almost cuts off a Corolla then runs a red light at 17mph, all in the same exit 😳

Been testing FSD at an exit here in Puerto Rico that fails 99% of the time. First it made an aggressive lane change that almost cut off a Corolla, then it went up the exit ramp and ran a red light at 17mph without braking.

All supervised of course — but the full sequence is wild.

For those who want to see the full sequence with my live reaction (in Spanish 🇵🇷— the car's language 😂):

My FSD saw this coming before I did. 50 to 28 MPH in seconds on a highway cut-off

Puerto Rico highway, car cuts in front doing way less than traffic speed.

I'm still processing it. FSD was already braking hard before my brain even said

"wait, that car is too slow." No takeover, no accident, just... the system handling it.

I've had FSD for a while now and this is one of those moments that reminds you

why you leave it on. Still wild to watch back on video.
