Is there such a thing as Narcissism by association (or relation)? I had a friend in high school, whose father exhibited narcissistic behavior regarding his son. Living vicariously, to an extreme extent. And as we became adults , the son liked to talk about the success of family members. To me it seemed like there was a definitive pattern. Is there a term or classification of this behavior?
