I’m new to Montague street (been living in Brooklyn heights for 3 years) and have been getting horrible sleep since moving in. Trash/recycle trucks don’t just come and collect trash once throughout the night—they come every hour. It starts at 10pm, then I get woken up at 12am, 1am, 2am, 3am, 4am, and then finally 6:30 am when I say screw it and just get up for the day.

Anyone else experiencing this? I hate complaining but this lack of sleep is really impacting me

Finished grad school and it’s my first time renting my own place here. (Had student housing in nyc for grad school.) Recently finished my apartment search and can’t help but be scared about how much I’ll be spending, even though I can afford it. For reference, I’ll be paying 2.7k for small studio in Brooklyn heights

Are both tools necessary at a big firm? And what uses are best for what tool?
