Here's what it's like to interchange at India's 2nd deepest metro station located at a staggering depth of 33 meters!

This is none other than District court station of Pune Metro, which also happens to be an interchange for Aqua and Purple Line, and in future Pink Line.

Metro coaches covered in dust. Stations still incomplete. Deadlines missed again. If Mumbai Metro 4 & 4A weren’t ready, why the rush for inauguration and announcements?

And here I was thinking that Pune Metro Line 3 was the most neglected metro project in Maharashtra. Seriously, this culture of tying infrastructure projects to elections needs to stop.

The viaduct for Pune Metro Line 3 has been completed for months, yet the finishing work is dragging on endlessly. There are very few workers on site, and progress appears painfully slow. This is simply unacceptable.

It is genuinely disappointing to see metro trainsets worth crores of rupees sitting idle and gathering dust. Given Mumbai's humid climate, it may not be long before issues such as corrosion and deterioration begin to appear if they remain unused for extended periods.

Can't they at least be kept inside of carsheds?
