Iris now has a NeoForge 1.21.1 snapshot alongside the Sodium backport

IMS has shared a new Iris snapshot for NeoForge 1.21.1, designed to work alongside the recent Sodium 0.8.12 backport. This means NeoForge players can finally start testing modern shader support on 1.21.1.

The developer also mentioned that it is still incompatible with Create Aeronautics for now, so this build remains highly experimental. Even so, this is still a pretty important step for the 1.21.1 NeoForge community, especially for players who have been waiting for better performance and shader support on this version of Minecraft. https://discord.com/invite/jQJnav2jPu

FaithfulBackrooms (Forge 1.20.1) might be one of the highest quality Backrooms mods for Minecraft

The atmosphere in this mod feels really unsettling in a good way. The liminal spaces ambient sounds weird glitches and overall style are all really well done. It feels more focused on psychological horror instead of just throwing random jumpscares at you. The empty environments and sound design make everything feel tense and strange and it captures the Backrooms vibe really well. https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/faithfulbackrooms

Any new WIP End overhaul mods for Forge 1.20.1?

I’ve been searching for a really good End overhaul mod for Forge 1.20.1, but honestly I still haven’t found one that truly feels worthy of being “the End update.” Most mods either don’t change enough, feel incomplete, or honestly just look ugly. I already know mods like Nullscape, BetterEnd, and some other mods exist, but I’m more interested in hidden or new work-in-progress projects that are currently being developed for Forge 1.20.1.

Does anyone know any upcoming End-focused mods that could become a huge overhaul in the future? ART MADE BY: Staring Back by kuvni

So yeah… after months of silence, Sodium is finally moving again on NeoForge 1.21.1. One of the main devs spent the weekend working on a partial backport of 0.8.11, manually bringing over improvements from the stable branch, it’s already looking promising with better performance, important bug fixes, smoother rendering, and overall better stability for modpacks, even if some features aren’t included yet

It’s still a nightly build, but they’re taking their time to stabilize it. If you can, try it out, you can find the builds on the Sodium GitHub or Discord, more testing now will help get a solid release out faster.

The bulker is a hostile mob that will be found in a new, unteased structure in LUMINOUS:END. When the bulker slams its lid shut, it will send out a shockwave of damage on whatever horizontal plane the bulker is attached to. (wall, floor, etc.) making for an interesting new damage source players will have to avoid while navigating the new structure!

I totally understand why MCreator has such a bad reputation. Most mods made with it are pretty bad generic mods full of new ores, mobs that spawn everywhere, ugly textures, and optimization issues that cause lag, that's why i'm confused. I've read that with good use of procedures and some care, it's possible to make decent mods, but I'm not sure how true that is, Is it really possible to make a well-optimized and good quality mod with MCreator? Have any of you played one that actually surprised you in a good way? Or do you think it's better to avoid them completely?

I'm a bit confused about this topic and would like to hear your real opinions
