First he henkas a super injured Tamawashi and now this?! Someone’s in his villain ark!

Hi friends!
We’re setup for the weekend at GalaxyCon Oklahoma City and actually had enough room for once to put out a lot of our sumo stuff! If you’re here in the city or at the con please come by and talk sumo/the current basho with us! We’re the booth made of wood (#233) in the exhibitor area, Tenzan Studio! We will be watching sumo behind the booth (two days to catch up on. Eek! 😅) and would love to hear complaints on missing top guys, predictions, favorite rikishi, fave bouts of the basho , and any and all Hakkaku hate! 😂

I just got the second book from a series by an author I REALLy like and the cover looks super AI. The main character has a completely different face than what was drawn on the first book’s cover, everything is really blurry, and there’s mistakes like the boat pointing two different directions, a different boat disappearing halfway back, her knee looking very confusing, etc. The cover artist that the author cites is Dusan Markovic.

He says he’s made over 2,000 book covers but doesn’t say that he doesnt do AI art, just that “Everything on my drawing is drawn. There is no cheap photo manipulation and 3D effects.” The author of the book I love made a point to write “100 percent human. No AI” on her cover, so I believe he’s misleading people if he is using AI. There’s very obvious looking mistakes on his website as well, like shoelaces melting into shoes, and feet just kinda disappearing at the bottom, one foot disappears into rock. It seems like super obvious AI to me, HOWEVER, he’s been doing this same-looking style foooorever. Long before AI became popular, I believe, so I am super confused! Maybe he’s piecing together AI images that he puts the same edit on? I dunno. Is it possible that this ISN’T AI?

Update: It can’t be AI! You guys are awesome and were able to find when the images were first posted and they were all posted before AI could be good enough to create something like this. It’s probably just some not great photo bashing. Solved! Thank you!
