Does anybody know what happened to Mr Bogner the photographer at the corner of Niagara Street and Main Street in Wellness?

Was driving tonight in South Welland and drove across the new Forks Road Bridge.

Seems like there shooting a movie or a series or something because there are huge high lights on Towers, tractor trailers on the road along the canal on the west side of the new Forks Road Bridge, was blocked off with security guards.

If it's a movie or if they're shooting some type of a TV series, it's got to be significant because there was loads and loads of equipment all around the area!

Took over the maintenance for my father-in-law as he passed away 4 years ago. 25,000 gallon vinyl liner pool.

One skimmer, one return and one side Inlet.

Skimmer replaced once, vinyl liner replaced twice after initial liner, return line repaired once at the sidewall of pool.

We are on our second Hayward pump and second sand filter. I did change the sand while my father-in-law was still alive.

I do run the pool pump 24/7 and it is not a variable speed pump. Throw a floater in there and put in a 3-in puck with zinc about every 4 to 6 days. No heater and most of the summer the water temperature is about 85. I have a cordless vacuum from water tech that I attach the telescoping pole to and vacuum by hand.

Only have to do vacuuming maybe twice a week and just in a few spots.

When I Super Shock once a week at most I sweep the walls and the floor.

That's it, nothing fancy whatsoever and it is still in good shape after 57 years.

I just use test strips and also always have a sock in the skimmer which I change frequently and the total cost the last few years has been about $250 per year. Open it around May 1st and close it near the end of September.

Water is crystal clear for the whole pool season other than a day or so after opening it.

My wife and I are thinking of going to Playa for about 5 weeks in January February time frame. Our problem is we can't decide if this is the right place due to the sargassm in the ocean?

Other than people at 4 way stops going before their turn, what other traffic situations do you find frustrating?

I noticed driving east on thorold rd. just east of niagara st. drivers coming out of the mini mall on your right, turning left, can't figure out their timing.

I had to either slow down a lot and even have come to a complete stop not to collide with them!

When Ford introduced this in 2015, I thought anybody in any type of rust belt, that wanted a truck, would only buy a Ford F-150

I know that their sales have always been very good but I thought this would put them way over the top.

For me, talk about peace of mind as far as rust with my 2016 Ford F-150. Still looks like the day it was manufactured!

I have been using skimmer socks for a few years and it does seem like it's a sand filter saver. Only backwash three times or so per year and the water comes out very clean. But what I have realized this year opening the pool, as I stirred up the algae from the pool walls and floor, and poured in liquid chlorine, I noticed these socks filled up quickly with dead algae and quickly plugged up the skimmer to the point I could not remove the skimmer without shutting off the pump.

Just a warning to be very careful because I am sure you can burn out your pump in no time due to the fact that it's struggling to suck in water from the pool.

Literally used for socks and a 3-hour period.

I wanted to run the filter through the night so I had to reluctantly not use a sock in the skimmer basket.

My mother-in-law has not received her Tribune delivery the last 2 days. Does anyone know possibly why?
