Why not Sammy as our coach? Hear me out

Since all of us want changes in management, why can’t we bring someone like Sammy?🙏

The only WI captain to win 2 ICC T20 WCs (2012 & 2016), took Peshawar Zalmi to the PSL final in 2021 as head coach, helped St. Lucia Kings win their first-ever trophy after 11 years under Faf, and most importantly changed the entire WI dressing room from individual performances to collective performances. Even in the recent T20 WC, they made the Super 8s. So what do you guys think?

League-stage dominance doesn’t always translate to playoffs

Idk why people are acting like CSK can’t do anything even if we qualify just because most of our wins came against lower-table teams (which is fair criticism tbh). But playoffs are a completely different ball game; it’s not about who won or who lost in the league stage, it’s about who handles that playoff pressure🤷.

That’s exactly what happened to PBKS last year. Like in 2021, we lost to DC in both games we played against them in the league stage, but we won in Qualifier 1. And in 2023, we lost to GT in the league stage but went on to win in Qualifier 1 and the finals, and we were the first team to bowl out GT.

I’m not saying CSK will suddenly win the title if we qualify; heck, I don’t even know whether we are going to qualify or not, lol. But comparing league-stage results directly with playoff games doesn’t always work because the pressure and mentality are completely different. Experience matters a lot in knockout cricket, and CSK definitely have plenty of that.
