Turned out sweet

What y'all's think!! These 17's cup2's came off a '95 993. 225/45 & 255/40 rear. Fit like a glove on this '90. I'll update ride quality when I ditch the 15yr old tires tho..

Resolved bc I was about to use 21mm spacers on the rear w the original d90's (16") had to grab these up at $800

Temperature control late 944

Mysterious, my heat control dial suddenly has physical resistance when turning back & fourth from cold to hot. It's physically harder to turn back n forth? Not hearing that audible click as when turning for system to register temp and adjust as it has always done. Year is '90. AC blows cold but doesn't adjust to heat. Wtf? When AC is off no hot air when dial is on heat, it's like it's stuck in cold setting on the dial???

Just wondering if anyone's experienced this?

First Friday Night (monthly) Photo

Hello all 944 nuts! Yes how we fancy our cars. Nothing like a retro piece of art on wheels. These cars weathered the storm! Be it an n/a '83 or a '91 951 Turbo. Fact is there's something about these budget friendly+bank busting fun cars! We just love 'em! Anyhow, I'm starting every first Friday of the month with a "Friday Night Photo" of our beloved 944. Yes I know I'm a weak behind but better later than never and I'll kick it off. No haters here. Just fun Friday photo of your epic 944! Only requirement is general location, yr & model!

Hello from Solano County Ca. '90 S2 Cab

I purchased this girl nearly a year ago.. may 2025. Sat for years, been so much fun bringing back to life. Done so much exterior engine, been lucky there. Have had the usual maintenance done, all fluids, belts, tb tensioner, stat, h20 pump & so much more.. I've posted here a few times over about many of interesting things going on.. this one really made me go "huh".

So early when I got it I replaced the og odometer gear. I could tell it was original by its brownish see thru "foggy" color. Crumbled as expected. Told me it was never touched, the car was basically all original which was amazing.. so I was the first getting in there. Did all the necessary steps. Removed the cluster. Changed out the lighting as well since it was pretty dull. The gear failed. I had a feeling since it didn't spin perfectly, it got stuck on some of the tiny cogs.. the eBay seller gave me another set of 3 for free! I was stoked. Anyhow, got it all in there, again. A real fun job if anyone's done it before.. those connectors are no joke. So fast forward to earlier today, all of a sudden, the trip stopped turning completely and the regulator odometer mile gear started turning fast like the trip. Registering miles as if the trip tenths of miles. I was like "huh". Hit the reset button on the trip then went back to normal. Like - ok car, you win!
