I know it’s a sin.. but I really like how this looks.

My father worked in aerospace and worked for Lockheed and NASA. In 2006 he purchased this brand new for $2300. I’ve loved this watch my entire life and always loved why he chose it with him being in aerospace.

In 2018 he received the silver snoopy award from NASA for his structural qualifications of Orion and wore this Speedmaster. I received this as an early gift for Father’s Day yesterday.

Watches are so much more than time pieces. Every time I look at my wrist I’m reminded of all the things this watch signifies. And I love it more every time I see it.
