Do you think there are guys that relate to Cassie, too? Or is she a character made mostly for women to relate to? Why?
I've been watching the show and its been acute for me how much I relate to her. Though I am a dude, I saw myself in most of Cassie's desperate attempts to earn validation and feel loved *and* her emotional outbursts. How naive she can be sometimes.
Though, I'm sure that the world treats a man growing up differently than a woman growing up and that is one of the pivotal pillars of Cassie's character (because she started being objectified in a way her sister was not due to her body) I ponder if men can relate to her struggles.
