ICJ Fellowship

Does anyone know if the ICJ communicates a response only to the successful candidates (i.e. to 15 universities who nominated students who got selected)? Or if the university's candidates don't get selected, they get an update as well.

Also, if anyone has heard any update on the 2026-2027 application cycle - could you please share some news 🙏

Hi All (especially, fellow neurodivergent Oxford students),

I wonder if anyone struggles badly with constant overstimulation at Oxford: there are crowds on the streets when I head to classes almost all the time now, people on the streets speak on average louder than I can handle, I was pushed quite a few times (not maliciously, but still, people just walk over other people), some noises - such as the hands dryers in most libraries' restrooms - are physically unbearable. Even dinner at hall - informal or formal - it's such a challenge because of the noises, it literally made me cry, whenever I tried to join to be more social.

I hope this doesn't offend anyone who is not on the spectrum: most people can't really relate, but I'm really objectively struggling. Just want to feel I'm not alone in this I guess and what strategy people use to survive. Thank you!

Good afternoon, dear Oxford community, I wonder if anyone faced the following situation: it turns out that the doctor I consulted several times (it's the clinic recommended by the college) was sending medical records and information to the college directly.

However, I have never given my consent to that and the doctor never asked/informed me. I remember filling in the registration form as a foreign student and selecting that I prefer not to share my NHS medical records with anyone. For the record, it was not some radical emergency or any risk of harm or anything like that at all. Just regular chronical health issues.

I have googled and found out that it's not only my case: in 2020, there was an investigation confirming that colleges at Oxford don't respect patient-client privacy.

Did anyone else face such a situation? Thank you very much for any insights.

Dear All, I would really appreciate any help: if I am doing a post-grad degree in law and in my program, we had to choose four courses, but then I had to rusticate due to health reasons in the last term. If I return next year in the last term as well, but one of my courses is no longer offered in that year, because the professor is on a sabbatical. What happens then? I can't finish my degree at all? Do I have to wait for another year once the course I initially took is back on offer? Thank you very much for any information - you would really save my life!

Good afternoon, did anyone receive any news regarding the ICJ Fellowship: the website says the results of who got selected for 2026-2027 should be out in April, so I guess I just didn't get there this year. But it would be great to know if anyone got a confirmation. Thank you very much!
