Flying tips with 4-week-old

We are preparing for a 2.5hr flight with our (will be) 4-week-old next week. We plan to bring along a baby carrier to wear through the airport and after takeoff. I’ve also been advised to nurse during takeoff and descent. What other tips do people have for flying with a small infant? Especially looking for advice on diapering and generally being on an airplane. Thank you!

9 days PP. Had a crazy moment yesterday where I feared the baby we took home wasn’t actually our baby. I remembered the two times the baby was wheeled out of the room without us. At one point in the hospital his ankle band with my name fell off. I scoured all the photos of him in the hospital and at home and compared the pattern of milia on his chin before I believed he was my baby again. I have an OCD/anxiety diagnoses but this felt next level. I have to look at the photos again each time I have that thought. I certainly was not expecting this PP!

Currently 40w+5 and going crazy over here waiting for spontaneous labor! Ended up scheduling an induction for 41w because I can’t take it any more! Any tips for staying sane while waiting for baby to make his grand entrance? 😅
