I have an ASUS TUF F15 purchased in Oct 2024 and recently it has started randomly switching operating modes between Performance, Windows, and Battery mode on its own. This happens while playing games and sometimes even when it is idle. The laptop is plugged in the whole time and the charging light stays orange/white normally. I don’t think the charger get disconnected because the charging LED doesn’t seem to flicker. Things I noticed while playing game ( tbh valorant) is that the mode changes suddenly from single/performance to battery mode to plugged in mode and so on for few seconds and the screen goes black also the CHARGING JACK gets HEATED SO MUCH that i cant even touch it is so hot T_T. Did anyone faced such issues and what should I do to prevent charging to get hot quickly. (I can see inside the jack...few corners are turning brown in color which is clear sign of burns.)
