Surprised Allison turned out to be a better mother

Back when coco, Kayla, Allison, and Kiara were all pregnant at the same time I definitely thought Allison would end up being the worst parent out of them. Because she stayed with Vium through physical abuse and fentanyl addiction, and her house was always so messy she would just lay in bed all day… and they were also always broke

It turns out she actually changed the most out of all of them

did trap tox help you break the habit of holding tension in shoulders ?

I toxed my masséters 3-4 times and it helped me break the habit of clenching my jaw now I don’t need it anymore.

I’m wondering if anyone has gotten trap tox and not needed to continue with it permanently?

Thanks !

Authenticity

Did anyone feel like they won’t be able to watch Tana’s new podcast? I stopped watching Tana so much after her story time era because we just went different directions in life. I still kept up, but I rarely watched canceled. I thought maybe I could give her new podcast try since she’s apparently changed, and we may be more aligned.

I still can’t stand watching. I really don’t think the problem is that Tana has changed I think that’s it’s that everything feels so inauthentic and over the top. I personally love watching Brooke since she got married because I can really relate since we are both in the same stages of life, and she seems calm and content. However, watching Tana it just feels like she is putting on an act. I don’t doubt she’s sober and doing better, but something just feels inauthentic about the way she acts. What is it that’s so off?

This is my current routine, please let me know if there is anything you would recommend changing.

- Pyukang Yul calming moisture barrier cream (open to new recommendations)
- spf 50 (currently using bioré uv aqua and missha spf tinted bb cream)

Night:

- pyukang yul cleansing balm
- cetaphil gentle cleanser
- element hypochlorous acid spray
- sit infront of hooga red light / infra red for 15 mins
- apply arazlo (every other night, my skin never peeled or reacted from tret so I feel comfortable with this frequency)

I was thinking I had neuro-Sjögrens for some time, but have been having issues with diagnosis due to negative blood labs. My grandmother has a lot of the same symptoms as me which are: rashes(she no longer gets them though), MGD, uveitis, nerve involvement. She was told by an eye specialist she had Sjogrens and then by another that she did not.

Recently my condition progressed and I am getting quite sick when exposed to UV, even through a window and fully clothed. I get flu like symptoms and my whole body feels sunburnt and my feet and legs start to burn. Usually lasts several days. I used to be able to manage my symptoms well, but this has made the condition unbearable. I truly feel so sick.

It’s made me second guess Sjogrens. If it helps, my grandmother who has suspected sjogrens’ mother was « allergic to the sun ». And would get sick and rashes like me. So it seems like there is something hereditary on that side of the family.

I had my first big flare almost 1 year ago now, and did a full ANA/ ENA panel a few weeks into it, everything was negative.

I’ve had re occuring rashes that I’ve been told by dermatology « looks like eczema but also looks lupusy », joint pain and stiffness, lowgrade fevers, hot flashes and temperature dysregulation, circulation issues like raynauds + blood pooling + blue extremities, burning feet and legs, I felt like I had the flu for for 4 months straight, swollen lymph nodes, inflammation in eyes, tendinitis, constant infections.

Fast forward to now I’m extremely sensitive to the sun or heat, it literally makes me sick and feel sunburnt and like I have a flu and fever. It makes my whole body burn and I get extreme exhaustion… even exposure to UV through a window when I’m fully clothed/ covered. I’ve never been like that and was always able to go out in the sun.

I’m just at a loss. My family doctor and I have done so many tests to rule out other conditions. My previous rheumatologist won’t treat me or help me due to my negative blood labs. I’m seeing another rheumatologist in a few weeks but I literally have zero hope they will help me.

Anyway, I’m wondering if I should request another blood panel since it’s now about one year later. Would it even change anything? My doctor said since I’m already symptomatic it wouldn’t change..? Can anyone share their stories with me.
