I love the diving days when I find interesting combinations of things. Today, it was a couple of unopened bottles of red grapefruit juice, a Mike Myers mask, and a globe. I may have to celebrate Hallowe'en early.
For rescuing trash pandas! Found my first dumpster raccoon of the season today in a bin that was mostly empty, so the little dude/dudette fell in to get at the goodies that were in there and couldn't get back out. I put some nearby tree branches and large pieces of cardboard propped up inside the opening so that it's got a ladder.
9 full cases of mandarin orange sparkling water, expiration Dec. 2026 (!), thrown out at a local pharmacy. Sadly, I had to leave one case behind as it just wouldn't fit on my bike. :-( Absolutely nothing wrong with 'em. Goodie for me but once again I'm left wondering why.
End of era. I grew up going to Westgate regularly, eating donuts from Fenton's and Hunt's Bakeries, seeing movies, and getting all our clothes from Kiddytown.
Among the goodies found today, more Kraft Dinner, a full bag of oranges, and a couple of packs of trail mix. I'm fixed for lunch. After noshing, perhaps I'll take a trip down memory lane and play Operation, 'cause I found that game, too.
