Sky VIP after cancelling

Retentions/win back offered a rubbish deal. The person said wait till after the 30 day cancellation period to get better offers. He/she then said sky VIP does not get cancelled for 48 hours after cancellation.

Has anyone had experience of cancelling and rejoining keeping their sky VIP as it was?

Many thanks

Rude Outbound call staff

I had a call from virgin media touting for business. When he realised I wasn't going to sign up there and then he just hung up on me.

Now I am thinking why would I go with virgin media in the future if they are that rude on a sales call. A simple goodbye would have left a much better impression.

Makes me think all customer service calls might result in rudeness

Is this good? 12 months, rolling contract

Has the ultimate TV add-on been merged into the TV package? If I hold out will I get better?

Thanks

Bizarre renewal 'offer'

My contract ends in September, currently pay £63 a month, sky sent an email with a renewal 'offer' with 2 choices...

  1. Pay £98 month for 2 years for the same (not a chance)

Or

  1. Do nothing and pay £74 a month.

I will be haggling once in my last 30 days, but do they really think anyone would pick option 1? It seems such a strange email to send out
