Hii so I need help choosing between Pilani EEE/ENI and Goa ECE/EEE/ENI
So, I scored 297 marks in the first session. So getting CSE is unlikely ( I don’t want it either so ig its okay) and ECE in Pilani campus is also risky.
I want to go into core electrical, not into IT. I have heard it’s pretty hard but I guess everything in engineering is hard anyways lol
from what I have read from comments on similar posts, most electrical students get placed in core electrical through the internships itself. So does the campus really matter for the same? Is it that Pilani gets better companies or all three
campuses get the same opportunities? Quant companies I know pilani leads, but what about core electrical?
I have read that the grading in the Goa campus has also gotten way better in the past few years, and I MIGHT do masters later so a high CGPA will most definitely be very important.
Also, what exactly is the difference between ENI, EEE, ECE? What should I choose if I am getting all three, ECE has the highest cutoff so I am assuming that it’s the most relevant one (?)
If I look at it in purely non-academic basis, then I am definitely leaning towards the Goa campus ( BEACH ❤️) but my parents are hesitant because Pilani has better ‘academic prestige’. I am super confused as to what to choose, pleasee help me out.
TLDR: Pilani EEE/ENI vs Goa ECE purely based on opportunities for core electrical
