I tried 23 days that didn’t work but since I go on vacation soon I was wondering if 35 days would work but I was also wondering if it was worth it to skip vacation and do longer depending on how long it takes to reset?
I lost one of my closest friendships over the past month and honestly I think the betrayal hurts more than the loss itself. This was someone I was friends with for 6 years.
I was going through depression and instead of communicating with me directly, my friend decided she needed a “break” from me because of my mental health. While we were on that break, she told another friend that I didn’t like her, even though I never said that at all.
That friend started treating me differently and being rude toward me because of it. When I tried to clear things up, I got told “it’ll be resolved when I’m ready.” Meanwhile I was just supposed to sit there while someone hated me over something I never even said.
What hurts most is realizing someone I trusted for years was okay with letting people think badly of me instead of correcting the misunderstanding. I would never let someone hate my friend over something untrue, especially if I was the one who caused the misunderstanding in the first place.
At this point I think I’m grieving the version of the friendship I thought I had more than the actual person.
I’m a cart user and I’m 20 days into my T-Break I was wondering if I should break it at 5 or 6 weeks will it have much of a difference?
