Home health wasn't able to help me

It was a long time coming, and the OT and PT both said there isn't really anything we can do, maybe you'll get better somehow eventually (basically). The goal was to increase my level of functioning at home.

I feel like they didn't even try? I have a knee that's been in a brace for years because of hypermobility and they refused to help me with PT for it (yet when I was trying to go to in office PT years ago the PT stressed the importance of PT to fix it). After a few appointments my case was closed.

I feel really disappointed. Has anyone else experienced this? Where do I go from here?

3 bowls and a large spoon that had been used with gluten containing prescription cat food, and that were not clean (but also not visibly covered in cat food, they were lightly rinsed) were hand washed with the same sponge that was later used to wash ALL other dishes. And when I mean all, I mean every item in the otherwise gluten free household. Not a whole lot of soap was used.

I threw out the sponge. Do ALL of the dishes need to be rewashed with a new sponge? The celiac in question says his stomach was upset after dinner (using some of these dishes) but he gets an upset stomach for non-celiac reasons at times, too.

Thanks for any guidance on this. I'm not sure what to do!!

I have a disabled client who is limited on how far he can travel and the hours he is able to travel, so Florence or very nearby is our only option for accessing the beach. He uses a wheelchair but can also walk short distances. The beach access sand path near Driftwood Inn was too much for him to navigate with the strain sand put on his legs and ability to walk.

I'm wondering if there are other options? We can't do David's Chair because there's no way we could get to the coast that early and because he needs regular, long rest breaks when doing any activity, so I don't think he'd be able to enjoy himself with a 1.5 hour checkout window.

Are there manual beach wheelchairs available to rent in or near Florence? Or a more accessible beach in the area? Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
